Growing up in the rural town of Elverson, Pennsylvania, I always had the resources to live an active lifestyle, whether it was playing sports, running and biking around the neighborhood, or something as youthful as climbing a tree. That lifestyle ultimately led me to pursue a career as a health and fitness professional. Once I completed my B.S. in Exercise Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, I took my small town mentality and explored city life across the country. I spent four years in San Diego, where most of my professional experience came in outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. I then became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and moved back to the East Coast, where I spent the next three years in New York City, training out of the Sports Center at Chelsea Piers, as well as privately all over Manhattan. I never lost the love for the Cali life and decided to return to the West Coast in the summer of 2013. After a short two months back in San Diego, San Francisco was screaming Opportunity. It didn't take me long to realize SF is the perfect mix of city life and the easy-going California lifestyle. This is a city where my goal of having a positive impact on the lives of others through safe and effective exercise can be accomplished and even exceeded.
My philosophy can be summed up in 2 simple personal mottos - Fitness: It's a lifestyle, Live it! And… Determination~Dedication~Desire.
Whatever my mood dictates, but I listen to almost anything.
Not sure if I found it yet. I still have a lot of exploring to do!
