Aerialist
Specializes in Aerial Silks, Aerial Conditioning, and Hand Balancing
I am originally from Japan and moved to the United States right after high school. Starting as a dancer in college, I was soon attracted to the circus arts. My training then began in aerial silks, hand-balancing and partner acrobatics by some renowned coaches, including those from Cirque du Soleil. I have been performing and teaching for over ten years throughout the USA, Canada and some parts of Europe. After seeing so many different places in the world, moving to San Francisco and enjoying all of my experiences in the city have made me feel that this place is my home. I look forward to connecting with people I meet here and seeing how life continues to evolve. Everyone has different challenges and goals when it comes to training. When I teach, it is so rewarding if I can help an individual get to their A-Ha! moment and, as a group, to watch them inspire each other. I hope I contribute to create those sort of moments with the members at Studiomix!
Sharing passions and challenges with others creates better connections and better training experiences. Training is not easy, but that's why it is also fun!
I listen to many different kinds of music… I guess you could say my preference is a sort of smoky jazzy sound. My favorite is 3 Leg Torso!
Anywhere there are oysters
I can speak Spanish and a little bit of Russian!
