Health Coach
Specializes in Cycle, Latin Dance, and Zumba
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, I am a professional dancer and fitness trainer. As a ballroom dancer I competed throughout the U.S under the International Latin & American Rhythm Ballroom categories. With training from world champions Ana Llorente and Olga Kormanovskaya, I have taught Latin dance to over several hundred students since 2006. As a fitness trainer, I have been in the industry since 1990 and currently teach at different locations in San Francisco. Certified in more than twenty different Group Fitness formats – from Les Mills’ Body Pump & Body Jam to Schwinn and Mad Dogg Indoor Cycle- I have helped thousands of people to achieve their fitness goals and transformed many lifestyles along the way. As a group fitness Latin Dance instructor I have been featured in several industry videos showing my particular style throughout my original choreographies. As an avid cyclist, I can be found riding my bike on the weekends while participating in several group rides; unless I am hiking some of the Coastal Ranges or skiing on the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Traveling around the world searching for new adventures is my passion!
My teaching method for the 'Art of Dance' is step by step: “Showing the importance of taking small steps, looking around for the partner to master the art of leading & following, reading and expressing your own body language.”
