Health Coach
Specializes in Dance, Cycling, Barre, and Corrective Exercise
Having grown up in Los Angeles, I was exposed to the performing arts early on. Most of my teenage years were spent in ballet class training for what would eventually become my first career. Since moving to San Francisco at the age of 18, I've had an eventful life of performing, training and traveling the world with numerous dance companies, Broadway shows and many other performing gigs. During that time, I learned that no lasting change in the body was ever achieved overnight. Most importantly, I realized that in any type of physical training, the body is the teacher and not the student. After over 15 years in the fitness industry, my hope is to change the way we look at workouts by not looking at exercise as a chore or just another item on our to-do list, but rather an opportunity to build a lasting relationship with the only thing in this world that we really own and the only thing that will be with us through it all... our body.
If you treat the body with the same respect, kindness, patience, encouragement, and discernment as you would with any other health y relationship, it is possible to make significant and lasting changes and open up the limitless capabilities that the body has to offer.
Anything with a good beat!
At home, in bed – with cat and hubby close by.
I can solve any Rubik’s Cube in under 2 minutes. Not a world record or anything, but I’m pretty proud of it.
